THE LITTLE BOOK OF FACTS ABOUT RMS QUEEN ELIZABETH
tells the moving story of a ship that had a secret maiden voyage in the midst of war, was one of the reigning monarchs of the seas for two decades, and met a mysterious and untimely end in Hong Kong Harbour. The Queen Elizabeth was a much beloved ship and the experiences of passengers as conveyed in this book show why. Like the Little Book of Facts About the Big Ship--The Life and Times of RMS Queen Elizabeth includes many facts and lists in a convenient format. And now Cunard's next ship will be named the Queen Elizabeth.

The Caine Mutiny

This is a 1951 edition (apparently first edition) of Herman Wouk's tense and fascinating novel of World War II in the Pacific when two officers took command of a decrepit mine sweeper when the captain seemed to lose control. It was popularized in the film starring Humprey Bogart, but the book has more detail than is possible in a screenplay. 498 pages (and each one is outstanding).

THE PORT OF LONG BEACH is a vivid photo book that tells the history of one of America's most important ports through its sometimes tumultuous history. Dedicated to Elmar Baxter, a man we knew and cared about.
